Bob Hope: Shanks For The Memory |
Through more than 400 items, 300 vintage images and two hours of video, you can trace Bob Hope's life from his immigration from England as a young child through his rise to the top of the century's major forms of entertainment—vaudeville, Broadway, film, radio and television.
Take a glimpse of his life as a father, husband, philanthropist, friend to 11 U.S. Presidents, and passionate golfer. Covering more than 3, 00 square feet and offering the largest collection of Hope's memorabilia ever available on public display, the exhibition also looks at his devotion to the United States troops and the various ways he championed the game of golf. Featuring numerous captivating sound bytes from Hall of Fame members, the new audio tour greatly enhances the museum's permanent collection by offering another dimension to the stories told within the museum. More than 70 stops are included featuring stops in the Bob Hope exhibit and stories from Tom Kite, Annika Sorenstam, Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, Tony Jacklin, Louise Suggs and more! Audio Tours are $3/person or two for $5 and may be purachsed at the museum's box office. |
